The Sexton supports the Cathedral Facilities & Events Manager in ensuring the campus of Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral reflects our mission of being a house of prayer for all people and a sacred gathering place for worship. We strive to maintain a clean, hospitable and safe environment in service to that mission. The Sexton plays a vital role in the maintenance and security of the Cathedral buildings and grounds as well as providing hospitality and support for a variety of services and events. The Sexton represents the Cathedral and interacts with parishioners, ministries, staff and outside user groups. The Sexton reports to the Cathedral Facilities & Events Manager.
