The Saint Mark’s Cathedral Foundation was founded in September 1995 as an independently governed, tax exempt organization. Its sole purpose is to support the future of the Cathedral by receiving, raising, and managing capital and endowment funds for the Cathedral’s buildings and grounds.

 

In January 2011, the Foundation became affiliated with the Bishop’s Office of the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia. In May 2011, its offices will move from the Cathedral to Diocesan House. In the meantime, current and deferred gifts to support the Foundation’s purposes are gratefully received at Saint Mark’s Cathedral Foundation, 1245 Tenth Avenue East, Seattle, WA 98102. Board meetings are open to the public, and are ordinarily held between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. at Diocesan House (except as noted). During 2011, the Board will meet on January 23 (the Annual Meeting and elections, 4:00-6:30 p.m. at St. Mark’s Cathedral’s Bloedel Hall), March 28 (3:00-4:00 p.m. in connection with the Retreat earlier in the day, at Trinity Parish Church), May 16, July 25, September 19, and November 21.
